Solar for your home, planned with your roof in mind
We start with your electric bills and your roof. If solar makes sense for your house, we plan the system, handle the paperwork and install it. If it doesn't, we'll tell you. Already have solar? We also handle solar repair requests. Tell us what is happening with your system so we can review the work needed.
Who it’s for: Homeowners who want to understand whether solar fits their house and budget, especially anyone whose roof may need work in the next several years.

When to call
Common reasons people contact us
High or rising electric bills
You want to know how much of your use solar could realistically cover.
A roof replacement coming up
Doing roof and solar together avoids removing panels for a reroof later.
Questions about cost and incentives
You want current, checked information instead of a sales pitch.
A quote you want checked
You have a proposal from another company and want a second look.
An existing system needs repair
Tell us about the problem, the equipment and any alerts from your monitoring system.

Your estimate always lists exactly what’s included for your job.

- Review of your electric bills and roof
- Permit and utility interconnection paperwork
- Inspection and system start-up
Process
New installations: from first look to permission to operate
Energy and roof review
We look at a year of electric bills, your roof's age and condition, and shading.
System plan and estimate
A written proposal with system size, equipment and price. No savings guarantees.
Permits and utility application
We file the local permit and the interconnection application with your utility.
Installation
Mounting, panels, wiring and inverter work, usually over a few working days.
Inspection
The local inspector checks the finished work.
Permission to operate
Your utility approves the system. Only then can it be switched on to run full time.
Installation being finished and the system being allowed to run are two different milestones. The utility's approval runs on its own schedule, which we don't control.
Before we arrive
- 12 months of electric bills, or online account access to download them
- Roof age, if you know it, and any past leak repairs
- Where your electric panel is
- HOA rules, if your neighborhood has an association
When the work is done
After the utility grants permission to operate, we show you how to read the system's monitoring and hand over the warranty paperwork.
Photos and paperwork from the job are kept with your job record.
Cost and timing
What affects your price
We don’t post prices, because two houses on the same street can need very different work. Your estimate is built from these factors.
System size
Set by how much electricity you use and how much roof space faces the sun.
Roof condition
A roof near the end of its life should be replaced before panels go on.
Equipment
Panel and inverter choices, and whether battery storage is included.
Electrical work
Some homes need panel upgrades to connect solar safely.
Incentives and financing
Change over time. We verify what currently applies before quoting it.
Timing
Design and paperwork usually take longer than the installation itself. Permit review and utility approval set most of the schedule.

Questions
Common solar questions
Will solar eliminate my electric bill?
It depends on your use, your roof and the system size. We show estimated production in the proposal, but we don't guarantee savings.
Is there still a federal tax credit?
Incentive rules have changed recently. We check the current federal and Pennsylvania rules before your estimate and recommend confirming eligibility with a tax professional.
Can solar go on an older roof?
Sometimes. If the roof has only a few years left, replacing it first is usually cheaper than removing and reinstalling the panels later.
Why can't I turn the system on right after installation?
The utility has to approve the connection first. Running the system before that approval isn't allowed.
Do you offer solar repair?
Yes. Select Solar repair when requesting an estimate and describe the issue. Include the equipment details and any monitoring alerts you have so we can review your system and the repair needed.
